These beefy brakes are some of the best around! The Deore XT V-Brakes are super stiff and feature long arms for increased leverage and awesome braking power. The parallel-push linkage keeps the pads aligned with the rim and extends pad life. Plus, the cartridge brake pads are super easy to replace (no realignment necessary).
Note: It's EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that Shimano V-Brakes (the generic name for this brake type is "linear-pull" or "direct-pull") only be used with brake levers designed for linear-pull brakes. If you don't have the correct levers, you may use adapters instead (sold separately).
